Swimming is enjoyed through the warmer summer months, and the sandy bottom stretches out as far as you can walk. A meandering stream runs across the beach providing hours of fun for children. Walk along the beach in either direction and discover cove after cove, accessible only by shore. The local wharf adds to the charm, with its summer lobster season providing quaint views of fishing boats on the horizon.

You will find your time here is far from the hype of tourist PEI, but rather you will be absorbed by the tranquility, and authenticity of your experience. You may choose to spend your days quietly around the cottage strolling the beach, reading, taking pictures, or swimming. Then again, you may want to go golfing, geocaching, antique hunting, discover local folk art, clam digging, tour the lighthouse, deep sea fishing, tour the sandhills, visit the Aboriginal Reserve, hiking, biking, or kayaking, but either way you will be sure to walk away with a true down-home experience. We can provide you with a lengthy list of things to do, and directions to the Anne's Land stuff too, a scenic one-hour drive away.
