New in 2009, Cavendish Sunset Cottage is centrally-located in Cavendish, bordering the PEI National Park. It lies within the unique community of residential/recreational chalet-style condos known as Driftwood Landing,and is situated in one of Canada's most scenic locations.

Cavendish is home of LM Montgomery's world-famous Anne of Green Gables and offers many attractions in addition to the Green Gables sites. These include the annual Cavendish Beach Festival (July 7-10 2011), a popular event that attracts sell-out audiences for concerts by major recording artists and local performers.

This two-bedroom cottages will appeal to couples, nature enthusiasts and all who enjoy beautiful natural settings. The Visitors' Centre is minutes away. Explore superb hiking, cycling, and walking trails, view unique sand dune formations and seascapes, observe birds and wildlife, swim at Cavendish Beach. Your rental includes use of a park pass. Visit the nearby picturesque village of Rustico to find fresh lobster and seafood for the barbecue, liquor store, restaurants, etc. Sign up for deep sea fishing. A half-hour's drive takes you to Charlottetown.

Cavendish Sunset Cottage offers many amenities for your comfort: master bedroom upstairs with queen-size bed and dresser, downstairs bedroom with double bed and dresser, living area with pullout sofa and satellite TV, full bath (tub/shower), kitchen equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, coffeemaker, dishwasher, washer/dryer, vacuum. The cottage is fully-furnished including linens and towels, dishes and cutlery. Heat is electric and propane stove. The large deck has a BBQ and picnic table and is ideal for viewing the spectacular sunsets.
